Chike Agada, a highly respected Nigerian singer, recently shared a remarkable testimony of his narrow escape from unknown gunmen in Abuja.
Recounting the events of the previous 24 hours, he expressed deep gratitude to God for his preservation. It all began after Chike left a friend’s restaurant and lounge opening, when he sensed that he was being followed.
Initially, he dismissed it as mere caution for his own safety. However, as he directed his driver to take numerous turns, he soon realized that his suspicions were warranted.
The situation took a dire turn as the unidentified gunmen started firing indiscriminately along Abuja’s Guzape Motorway, prompting Chike to urgently instruct his driver to speed up.
He wrote:
“Last 24hrs have been a true testimony. I had just left the opening of my friends restaurant and lounge opening in Abuja only To discover I was being followed.
“At first I thought it was me being security cautious but after instructing my driver to make several turns about 10times I realised I was definitely being followed.
“I asked the driver to step on the pedal along the Guzape express way in Abuja and as soon as he did they started fong sporadically at my vehicle. I thank the almighty because I left there unharmed.
“And I want to express my gratitude for the way in which the @OfficialDSSNG came to my aid in making sure of my safety.”
