Singer Chike has made shocking allegations that Apple Music Nigeria’s top charts are compromised, claiming the top 10 and top 20 spots are often manipulated.
In an interview on “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” Chike stated: “Your top 10 and top 20 on Apple Music is rigged… Not all the time, but most times. People are willing to pay for promotion, and I can get to the top 10 by spending $30,000.”
Chike emphasized that this practice is not unique to him and that many artists engage in this tactic to boost visibility. However, he noted that genuine success cannot be bought.
