Chima Udoye has been crowned the winner of Nigerian Idol season 9, outshining a talented pool of vocalists in a months-long competition.
The grand finale was a spectacular event, kicking off with a group performance of John Legend’s “Glory” by all 10 contestants. The show also featured special appearances by past winners Progress and Victory Gbakara, as well as guest performances by Simi and Chike.
The top 3 contestants, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima, delivered their final performances, with Chima ultimately emerging victorious. His prize package includes a cash prize of N30 million, a music deal with a music video, a DSTV Explora with a 1-year premium subscription, and a brand new SUV.
