Big Brother Naija contestant Chinwe has refuted claims that she sponsored her boyfriend Zion’s participation in the show.
The controversy began when Chinwe and Zion had a disagreement on Thursday, with Chinwe accusing Zion of not supporting her during her altercation with fellow housemates Onyeka and Chizoba.
During a conversation with DJ Flo, Chinwe claimed to have sponsored their joint entry into the show, expressing regret for not bringing her best friend instead. However, when questioned about this statement by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during Sunday’s eviction show, Chinwe denied making such a claim.
She clarified that her previous statement was misconstrued, explaining that she meant to say she encouraged Zion to participate since he was initially hesitant about joining the show.
