On social media, CKay stated, “History can’t be rewritten… I pioneered many vibes Afrobeats artistes thrive off today. You laughed at me, now you’re doing the same thing.”
The “Love Nwantiti” hitmaker emphasized his role in shaping the Afrobeats sound, suggesting others are profiting from his innovative style.
