Media personality Daddy Freeze has responded to the Appeal Court’s decision to uphold a N5 million fine against him for allegedly engaging in an extramarital affair with a married woman, Benedicta Elechi.
The initial ruling was made by a Rivers State High Court in Port Harcourt on February 18, 2021, ordering Daddy Freeze to pay the sum to Benedicta’s husband, Paul Odekina.
Dissatisfied with the verdict, Daddy Freeze appealed the decision, seeking a reversal of the ruling. In a recent Instagram live show, Daddy Freeze vehemently denied the allegations of infidelity, maintaining his innocence in the matter.
“I will pay the adultery fine; my wrist watch alone cost over N100 million, but I am innocent.
“This happened many years ago. I was going through serious torment, so was the lady, and we both jam many years later in church; this happened over 12 years ago”.
