Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has shared that his wife, Chioma, was the key factor in his decision to marry. In a recent episode of The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido emphasized that without Chioma, he would not have pursued marriage at all.
He stated, “My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my companion for 12 years, so it was only natural for me to marry her. I was already gaining fame when we met, but I wasn’t at my peak then.”
Reflecting on their relationship, he added, “If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have considered marriage. There’s no point in getting married otherwise.”
It’s worth noting that Davido and Chioma celebrated their wedding on June 25, 2024, in a grand event held in Lagos.
