Popular Nigerian crossdresser and media personality, Denrele Edun, has opened up about his struggle with stroke.
Denrele recently shared about the most difficult period of his life, revealing that he experienced a stroke that impacted half of his face.
During a widely circulated interview with Channels TV, Denrele explained that he was extremely unwell at the time due to the stroke.
Describing his experience, he shared that the stroke resulted in his left eye closing and a significant change in his facial appearance, prompting him to conceal the affected side with his hairstyles.
”I had just come out of having a stroke on half of my face, I was very sick.
But it still did not stop me from working. My face was dropping on the right side anytime I had to drink water it would pour out of my mouth. One of my eyes was widely opened and I couldn’t hear and breathe.”
