Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the September 21, 2024 Edo State election, has tendered over 1,000 documents to challenge the victory of Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ighodalo claims he scored the highest valid votes, and the documents, including certified true copies of election result sheets and polling unit booklets, are meant to support his petition alleging irregularities during the exercise.
