Enugu Deputy Governor, Barr. Ossai Pays Last Respects to Late Senator Ayogu Eze

Enugu State Deputy Governor, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai, today joined thousands of Nigerians to pay last respects to the Senator that represented Enugu North Senatorial zone in the Senate from 2007 to 2015, Senator Ayogu Eze CON, during his burial at his hometown in Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North LGA of Enugu State. Barr. Ossai, in tribute, said: “Today, I joined other well-meaning Nigerians to pay my last respects to a titan, the late Distinguished Sen. Ayogu Eze, CON.

Sen. Ayogu Eze leaves behind a void that will be felt across our nation. However, his goodwill will surely be remembered by all with whom he shared his life. Even though we grieve, we take solace in Sen. Ayogu Eze’s unwavering dedication to service, his intellect that illuminated every debate, and his unflinching passion for progress.

“As Sen. Ayogu Eze is laid to rest, we also celebrate the life he lived. One of purpose, of principle, and of profound impact. He may be gone, but he is never forgotten.

“Once again, I pray that God comforts us who mourn him. Rest in peace, Ebubedike. Your legacy will endure.”
