Falanas Demand Retraction and Apology from Bobrisky Over Defamatory Claims

Published on

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, Folarin Falana (Falz), have issued a 12-hour ultimatum to Bobrisky, demanding a retraction and public apology for his defamatory claims. Bobrisky alleged that the Falanas approached him to secure a presidential pardon for N10 million, which they deny.

The cease-and-desist letter from Falana and Falana’s Chamber states that Bobrisky’s claims are damaging to their reputation and were made recklessly.

They assert that Bobrisky never instructed them to write a letter of pardon and that their client never spoke to him regarding any other matter.

If Bobrisky fails to comply within 12 hours, the Falanas will pursue legal remedies, including monetary damages, for the malicious defamatory statements.
