Fayose Labels Coalition Against Tinubu a “Dead Horse,” Says It’s a Waste of Time.

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has dismissed the opposition coalition aimed at unseating President Bola Tinubu in 2027, calling it a “dead horse” and a waste of time. Fayose, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated that no prominent Nigerian has publicly supported the coalition, led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

Fayose believes the coalition will fail due to internal PDP issues and the party’s governors fighting for their own survival.

He also expressed his disdain for Atiku, vowing to work against him if he runs for president again in 2027, citing the need for the PDP to adhere to its zoning arrangement.
