Nollywood star Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin, known as Simi Gold, faced legal repercussions for naira tampering last year and has now expressed support for her friend Bobrisky, who is currently confronted with similar allegations.
In February 2023, Simi Gold was apprehended after a video surfaced online depicting her disrespecting naira notes by spraying and stepping on them.
Subsequently, after the Federal High Court in Lagos issued a guilty verdict in Bobrisky’s case concerning naira misuse, Simi Gold stood in solidarity with her friend.
On her Instagram account, she extended empathy towards Bobrisky, offering words of encouragement and affirming that her friend would emerge resilient from this challenging time.
She wrote:
“Bobrisky, nothing do you, my friend. You are coming out of this with your head up
“Sending you loads of love, my sweetheart Bobrisky.”
