Nigerian actress Funke Akindele has revealed that she is single-handedly raising her children after her separation from husband JJC Skillz.

She expressed how the pressures of solo parenting, combined with her career and personal losses, had taken a toll on her mental health, leading to a rare moment of emotional breakdown on social media.
Akindele and JJC Skillz married in 2016, welcomed twins in 2018, and announced their separation in June 2022, with issues around child custody and business interests still unresolved.
