Ganduje Harassed by Angry APC Members Over Failure to Endorse Shettima.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, narrowly avoided physical assault on Sunday during a heated APC North-East Forum meeting held in Gombe.

Tensions escalated when Comrade Mustapha Salihu, the party’s National Vice Chairman (North-East), publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 elections but deliberately excluded Vice President Kashim Shettima from his remarks.

His statement sparked outrage among delegates, who began shouting insults and making threats, forcing security operatives to swiftly escort him out.

Ganduje, who also omitted any mention of Shettima during his own 10-minute address, provoked a similar reaction.

Enraged party members confronted him, with some grabbing and tugging at his blue Agbada before security personnel intervened to remove him safely from the venue.

Video footage obtained by this publication captured the chaotic moment APC members manhandled Ganduje’s outfit amid the unrest.
