Celebrated gospel vocalist Mercy Chinwo and her spouse, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, joyfully welcomed their first child on Friday. The talented songstress shared the wonderful news on her Instagram page.
In a music video that showcased her growing baby bump, Mercy thanked the Almighty for the precious gift of their bundle of joy.
She wrote: “Lord, we are grateful. We approach your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving. [You] filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed, you do this one.”
Mercy didn’t reveal the gender or the name of her child.
