Renowned gospel singer Bolaji Olanrewaju, popularly known as Big Bolaji, was laid to rest at All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan, following his passing on April 19 at the age of 50 after a brief illness.
The burial events began on Wednesday at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, with a lying-in-state and a memorial service attended by family, friends, and fellow gospel artists.
Notable figures such as Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, Yetunde Are, and comedian Woli Agba were present to honor the late singer.
Following the service, a funeral procession made its way to the cemetery, where Big Bolaji’s wife, relatives, and loved ones gathered to bid him a final farewell.
