Popular gospel singer, Sola Allyson, has responded to criticism on social media for not mentioning “Jesus” in her music.

The criticism came after an interview with singer Panam Percy Paul, who shared a story about being offered £24 million to remove “Jesus” from his songs. Allyson was called out for not mentioning “Jesus” in her 2019 album, “IRI”.

In a video response, Allyson questioned the motives of her critics, stating that her music is rooted in her own faith and values.

She emphasized that she doesn’t want to be associated with their kind of “Jesus” and that she won’t be bullied into joining their “darkness”.
