Real Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, recently expressed concern over Luka Modric’s displeasure at being excluded from the team.
Modric, whose contract with the club expires this summer, is likely to depart from the Bernabeu.
Last year, he had the opportunity to join a Saudi Arabian club but opted to remain with Real Madrid and compete for a spot in the squad under Ancelotti’s management.
Despite facing limited opportunities on the field, Ancelotti has commended Modric for his unwavering professionalism.
“Luka Modrić will never accept to be a bench player, I know him well.
“He never stops to train, to fight…he always has the same excitement and will to fight and play. He will never accept that”.
