Veteran actor John Amos, known for iconic roles in “Coming to America” and “Good Times,” has died at 84.
Amos’s son, Kelly Christopher Amos, announced his father’s passing on August 21 due to natural causes.
“He was a man with the kindest heart and a heart of gold, loved worldwide,” Kelly said, adding that John’s legacy will live on through his remarkable work in television and film.
John Amos’s notable performances earned him a special place in the hearts of many, often regarded as a “TV father” to fans.
