House of Representatives’ Adhoc committee on National Housing Funds commends Enugu state compliance on remittance

House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Non-Remittance to the National Housing Fund (NHF) and Utilization has commended the Government of Enugu State on its commitment towards consistent remittance to the Housing scheme. The Committee led by its Chairman, Hon. Dachung Bagos, said this moments ago when they paid a courtesy visit on the State Governor, Barr. Peter Mbah. The committee commended the Governor for his efforts in ensuring that the state government was up to date in terms of compliance and remittance to the NHF.

While receiving the members of the ad-hoc committee who were on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Enugu, on Tuesday, the Governor said his government was passionate about prioritizing the welfare of workers in the state through various incentives which included the planned 20,000 mass housing.

Earlier, the Member Representing Enugu North and South Federal Constituency, Hon Chimaobi Sam Atu, who is a member of the Committee said “housing was one of the basic things a government must invest in”. Hon Atu further praised Enugu State Government for its commitment.
