‘I didn’t make any profit from Gwo Gwo Ngwo challenge’ – Brain Jotter

Nigerian comedian and content creator, Chukwuebuka Amuzie, also known as Brain Jotter, has responded to the recent controversy surrounding Mike Ejeagha’s popular 1983 track ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo’. This classic song gained widespread attention once more due to the dance challenge initiated by Brain Jotter.

The video showcasing the dance challenge has garnered an impressive 29.1 million views and attracted over 30,000 comments on Instagram. Similarly, on TikTok, the video amassed 19.6 million views and more than 23,000 comments.

The resurgence of interest in the 93-year-old Ejeagha and his iconic song has captured the fascination of online users, resulting in an outpouring of support and admiration. Brain Jotter even extended a gesture of goodwill by offering him N2 million.

While some viewed this as a generous offer, others criticized Brain Jotter, alleging potential copyright violations.
