American musician Lizzo has addressed the recent speculation around her statement of “quitting,” clarifying that it did not pertain to her music career.
The talented artist, who has won four Grammy awards, expressed her frustrations about facing persistent bullying for the sake of gaining attention.
Lizzo, aged 35, has since explained that her intention was to convey her decision to stop giving importance to negative energy and not to step away from her music endeavors.
She wrote:
“When I say I quit, I mean I quit giving any negative energy attention… What I’m not gonna quit is the joy of my life, which is making music.”
