The supposed pregnant companion of Afrobeats musician Davido, Anita Brown, has shared how many fans she gained following the controversy.
The socialite, who is based in the US, revealed that she gained over 700,000 followers on Instagram simply by venting on the platform after accusing Davido of impregnating her.
Anita Brown wrote, “I gained 700k followers from an Instagram rant. Just imagine what will happen when my content becomes available on streaming platforms and television. While you are all focused on Instagram, I am thinking about television, LOL.”
When a follower asked for advice on how to gain more followers, she replied that, surprisingly, Nigerians seem to be more interested in negativity than in positivity.
Taking to her comment section, a social media user asked, “So all I gotta do is rant for my followers to go up? Is that how that works??”
Replying to him, Anita Brown said: “Lmao basically, they don’t like positivity they be lying. They live for negativity lmao”.
