Queen Mercy Atang, a former Big Brother reality show star, recently expressed her support for BBNaija All Stars housemate, Ilebaye, on social media. She took to her platforms to defend Ilebaye in the aftermath of her clash with Venita Akpofure. By publicly defending Ilebaye, Queen Mercy Atang showcased solidarity and stood up for her fellow participant amidst the controversy surrounding their confrontation.
During the ongoing All Stars show, Venita Akpofure, one of the participants, referred to Ilebaye as a ‘toddler in a China shop.’ Venita’s comment suggests that she sees Ilebaye as someone who is inexperienced or clumsy in handling certain situations. The remark, made on Thursday, added fuel to the clash between the two housemates and sparked conversations among fans and viewers of the show.
While offering advice to Ilebaye on how to conduct herself in the house, Venita Akpofure made the comment referring to her as a “toddler in a China shop.” It seems that Venita was attempting to convey that Ilebaye should be more cautious and mindful of her actions, comparing her to a clumsy individual who may inadvertently cause damage. This advice, though delivered in a pointed manner, was likely intended to help Ilebaye navigate the dynamics of the house more effectively.
“You are a toddler in a China shop,” she said.
Ilebaye replied: “What do you mean by that?”
Venita: “Not all of us are equal here so use a ruler and measure where you are and who you talk to.”
Reacting to Venita’s statement on her Instagram page, the BBNaija season 6 housemate noted that no one in the house is bigger than Ilebaye, as they all went into the house for the same reason.
Queen wrote: “I hate intimidation in every form. Not fair the way some housemates are treating Ilebaye. Girl stand up for yourself in there. No one in there is bigger than you. If they come for you, go for them. Everyone there went there for the same reason, you’re there.”
