A previous artist signed to the Marlian Record label, Lil Smart, has revealed that he feels rejuvenated and in good health since leaving the label. Lil Smart made this announcement during a live video.
Marlian Records, which is owned by singer Naira Marley, has been embroiled in controversies, particularly following the tragic death of one of its former signees, Mohbad.
The circumstances surrounding his death have prompted concerns from former Marlian artists like AJ and Lil Smart, as they speak out about their experiences within the label.
In a video that has since gone viral, Lil Smart mentioned the following on Thursday: “Look at how healthy and refreshed I appear after leaving Marlian music.
Look at the Mercedes Benz I am driving now in comparison to when I was with them. I never purchased a car of such value while I was under Marlian.”
It is worth noting that Lil Smart had expressed concern about suffering a similar fate to Mohbad when reacting to the latter’s death.
