“I still cry every morning” Davido laments

In a CNN interview on June 12, 2023, the singer opened up about the overwhelming sadness each day following Ifeanyi untimely death.

The incident occurred on October 30, 2022, when Ifeanyi tragically drowned in a pool at home.

Despite the overwhelming grief, the singer has managed to find comfort in music. He poured his intentions into his anticipated album, Timeless.

As of the time of this report, the musician whose return to social media is anticipated by many, had removed his profile picture and deleted over 4,000 posts from his timeline, leaving his fans in confusion.

Davido left only three pictures: one of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who passed away in November 2022; one of him and his wife, Chioma; and one of his performance at World Qatar cup, he left this as the only memory on his timeline.

Although, some of his fans are anticipating his return, while some are already worried.

The singer arrived in Qatar ahead of his appearance at the FIFA 2022 World Cup’s closing ceremony. That was the singer’s second public appearance since the death of his beloved son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in October.
