Seyi confided in Ilebaye that he had contemplated leaving the show after making a negative comment about the girl child on Big Brother Naija All Stars.
During his apology, he expressed concern about the potential impact his words might have on her as the youngest female housemate in the house.In his words, “I am still embarrassed every time the thing comes to my head… I want to personally apologise to you cause more or less I can say it was directed in your direction because you’re the youngest of everybody in the house… hopefully when you see or hear what it is that I said, you will understand why I’m not able to say it”.
The contestant from BBNaija All Stars also shared the challenges he faced while remaining on the show after being warned by Big Brother.“it was already affecting me to a certain degree I was considering leaving the house because of it, because it’s really that bad for me”.
Following his public apology in a diary session with Big Brother and during a group meeting with fellow All Stars housemates, Seyi delivered this apology.In unrelated news, Ilebaye opened up during a diary session with Big Brother about the impact the ongoing feud with Doyin was having on her. She expressed her weariness with the friendship on one hand, but also mentioned her determination to make an effort in demonstrating the depth of her feelings and appreciation for Doyin.
Ilebaye’s perspective on the fight with Doyin revolves around her decision to withhold information about Kiddwaya and Mercy’s escapades during the pool party. According to Ilebaye, she chose not to share this information with Doyin because she was aware that Doyin did not like Kiddwaya. In her words, she explicitly instructed her friends Soma and Angel not to inform Doyin about it. From Ilebaye’s standpoint, she believed that bringing up the matter would be unnecessary since Doyin had shown dislike towards Kiddwaya.
On Doyin’s side, their relationship became strained after Ilebaye had a discussion with Venita, who Doyin had previously had a dispute with regarding the damaging of Ilebaye’s belongings. During a conversation with Cee-C, Doyin conveyed her frustration regarding the situation saying, “If after everything, I’m the bad person, then I leave everybody to God, How can I get into an argument because of you, then you go and meet the person that I argued with because of you and you take that person’s word, over mine. That is the most cruel thing”.
The two have not reconciled and appear to be prioritizing socializing with other BBNaija All Stars participants rather than addressing and resolving their previous conflict.
