Nigerian socialite and cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has declared that he will continue to dispense cash at social gatherings, but with a twist.
Following his release from a six-month prison sentence on August 5, 2024, for allegedly mutilating the naira, Bobrisky revealed in an interview with content creator Bae U Barbie that he will now exclusively spray US dollars at events.
He maintained that his recent incarceration does not define him as an ex-convict, as he believes his actions do not constitute a crime.
Bobrisky was sentenced on April 12, 2024, by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos, without the option of a fine.
He said,
“I am still going to spray money but I will only spray dollars not naira.
