Ilebaye Odiniya, popularly known as Baye, emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija All-Stars, earning herself the coveted N120 million grand prize. At a ceremony held on Tuesday in the BBNaija House in ilupeju, Lagos, Ilebaye was presented with her prize money, a luxurious SUV from Innoson, and various other prizes.
The 22-year-old model, originally from Kogi, outshined five other finalists to secure the top spot in the reality show on Sunday. Throughout her 70-day journey in Biggie’s house, Ilebaye demonstrated her intelligence and strategic prowess, outplaying 23 other housemates to claim the grand prize.
Ilebaye, who competed in the 2022 edition titled ‘Level Up,’ secured an impressive 30.08% of the votes cast, with the 2019 winner, Mercy Eke, coming in as the first runner-up with 23.48% of the votes.
In addition to the N120 million cash prize, Ilebaye also received a range of enticing rewards as the winner of the 2023 edition. These include a weekend getaway for two courtesy of Travel Beta, a Techno phone, Nexus appliances, a 1-year supply of Pepsi, Dano milk, Munch It, Waw, Hawaii soap, Titus, Lush hair, and Sardine products.
One of the highlights of Ilebaye’s win was the presentation of her brand new car, a white 2023 IVM G5T sports utility vehicle (SUV). Innoson CEO described the vehicle as “The Perfect Victory Ride!”
“I dedicate all these prizes to my Gen Z Baddies. This is a proof that you should not underestimate yourself. I came into the House with no strategy but with plenty of belief. I never thought I could win, it never occurred to me. I came for the fun and the fun saw me through. When I came the first time, I stayed in the house for 3 weeks and honestly, I felt I would spend just 2-3 weeks,” she said, in chat short chat with press men at the event.
