Nigerian singer Portable has controversially declared himself a pastor, claiming divine guidance. This comes after backlash over a video showing him assaulting a pastor for preaching at his bar.
The incident sparked outrage online, with the assaulted pastor warning Portable of consequences for his “disrespectful” and “uncouth” behavior.
He said:
“I’m a pastor. When I speak, God speaks. I have never disrespected any pastor. If he were one, God would have told me.”
