Singer Davido’s manager for logistics, Israel Afeare (also known as Israel DMW), shared a fortunate experience he had with kidnappers some years back.
The social media personality, who hails from Edo State, revealed that he was kidnapped in 2001 alongside three others while taking a ride from Lagos to Ibadan.
Their abductors were said to be ritualists, and they dragged them into a forest in the middle of the journey. Israel was lucky to get released since the kidnappers claimed he was “a very bad market.” He shared this story on his Instagram story to mark his birthday anniversary and added that he’s thankful to God for safety.
Israel shared on his Instagram story on Wednesday while celebrating his birthday anniversary that he and three others were kidnapped in 2001 while traveling from Lagos to Ibadan.
He explained that their kidnappers, who he believed were involved in ritual activities, took them to a dense forest. Miraculously, Israel was the only one released, as the kidnappers deemed him “a very bad market.”
They even gave him N200 to supplement the 40 naira he had for transportation. Israel expressed gratitude to God for his deliverance.
