Katsina Governor Dikko Radda Inaugurates 34 Local Government Chairmen, Promises Anti-Corruption Measures.

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has issued a strong warning to newly elected local government chairmen against engaging in corruption, inefficiency, and neglect.

He made these statements during the swearing-in ceremony for the chairmen, emphasizing that his administration will not accept any form of misconduct.

At the event held on Monday, Radda remarked, “Corruption, inefficiency, and negligence will not be tolerated under my watch,” highlighting the vital role local governments play as the nearest link to the citizens, who have high expectations of their leaders.

He added, “Your election signifies the confidence that the people have in you to lead your respective local government areas. This day marks the start of a new era in grassroots governance in Katsina State, where you will be responsible for driving development, fostering peace, and uniting your communities.”

Governor Radda reiterated his government’s dedication to ensuring full autonomy for local governments throughout Katsina. “I assure the people that our administration is committed to implementing Local Government autonomy across all 34 local government areas,” he stated.
