Kim Petras, the German singer based in the United States, has chosen to cancel all of her scheduled festival performances for the summer.
The decision comes after she received medical advice urging her to do so. In a statement, Petras revealed that she is currently dealing with some health issues, but did not disclose the specific nature of the ailment.
The Grammy award-winning artist expressed her regret at having to make this decision, but emphasized the importance of taking care of her health.
She wrote:
“I’m devastated to be writing this but I’m going through some health issues and under medical advice I had to make the hard decision to not perform at festivals this summer.”
