Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, known as Kwam1, has expressed anger towards his senior colleague Ayinla Kollington for not reaching out or offering condolences after the death of his mother.
Kwam1 claims he supported Kollington during his mother’s burial, handling all the finances and bringing dignitaries, including governors.
Despite this, Kollington allegedly failed to reciprocate the kindness when Kwam1’s mother passed away on January 18, 2025. Kwam1 questions Kollington’s excuse that he called but didn’t get through, sparking his anger .
Interestingly, Kwam1 has been known to support Kollington financially, leveraging his influence to secure support funds from the Lagos state government for the veteran musician.
This gesture has been ongoing, with past governors like Babatunde Fashola and current Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu contributing to Kollington’s well-being.
