La Liga President Slams Real Madrid Amidst Copa del Rey & Premier League Transfer News

La Liga President Javier Tebas has launched a scathing attack on Real Madrid, accusing the club of attempting to damage the competition.

This follows a letter of complaint from Real Madrid regarding refereeing decisions in their recent match against Espanyol. 

Tebas stated that Real Madrid has lost their minds and is building a false narrative of victimhood. La Liga is considering legal action against the club.

In other Spanish football news, Atletico Madrid thrashed Getafe 5-0, with Giuliano Simeone scoring twice, to advance to the Copa del Rey semi-finals. 

Robert Lewandowski scored to secure a 1-0 victory for Barcelona against Alaves. Alvaro Morata has joined Galatasaray on loan from AC Milan.

Meanwhile, in England, Aston Villa has reportedly signed Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United. Additionally, the Premier League is reportedly not considering playing matches in the US.
