The Labour Party (LP) has launched a nationwide grassroots mobilization initiative to empower youth leaders and prepare for the 2027 general election.
Director-General Marcel Ngogbehei emphasized the crucial role of youth leaders in shaping Nigeria’s political landscape and fostering national unity.
The party aims to ensure a fair, inclusive, and accessible political space for all, with youths playing a central role in policy formulation and strategy.
Key areas of focus include security, economic empowerment, education, sustainable development, and good governance.
Ngogbehei urged youth leaders to utilize the National Youth Leaders Conference as a platform to strategize, build networks, and develop actionable solutions for Nigeria’s pressing challenges.
He emphasized that young people are not just the voice of tomorrow but the force of today, and their concerns, aspirations, and visions must be central to LP’s policies and strategies.
