American singer Lady Gaga has spoken out against ageism in the pop music industry, stating that it’s “insane” to consider women in their late 30s “old” for a pop star.
Gaga, who is 38 years old, made the comments while receiving the Innovator Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
She emphasized that she’s “just getting warmed up” and is ready to continue making music and pushing boundaries in the industry.
