Nigerian actress Laide Bakare has vowed to take action against her colleague Eniola Badmus after Badmus referred to her as an “animal” in a direct message.
The drama unfolded after a public altercation between the two actresses at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere.
Bakare revealed that she had given Badmus her first major role when no one else would work with her, and felt betrayed by Badmus’s insult.
Bakare shared a screenshot of their exchange, where Badmus wrote, “Don’t bring your terrible animalistic behaviour around me. Stay farrrrrrrr.”
In response, Bakare reminded Badmus of her kindness, stating, “I gave you your first major role in life when no one wants to associate with you because of your ugly looks and obesity.
I spent my own hard-earned money on an ingrate like you, and all you could pay me back with is to call me Animal?” Bakare concluded by saying, “Almighty God will judge you, Insha Allah. You just started what you cannot finish, and I promise you must collect.”
The public feud between the two actresses has sparked reactions, with many awaiting their next move. The situation remains tense as both actresses have strong followings in the Nollywood industry.
