LP electoral reform committee led by Sam Amadi.

The Labour Party (LP) has established a committee dedicated to electoral reform, with analyst Sam Amadi serving as its leader.

The main objective of this committee, according to the LP, is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the party’s electoral process with the aim of guaranteeing free and fair elections.

In a press release issued by the LP’s National Publicity Secretary, Umar Farouk Ibrahim, it was stated that the committee will be officially inaugurated on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.

The statement reads:

“This is to inform members of the public that the leadership of the party has approved the following persons to serve as members of Labour Party Electoral Reform Committee.

“They are mandated to carry out a wholistic review of the electoral process that will guarantee free and fair elections.

“The committee is given three months to submit its report to the party.”
