A Nevada grand jury has charged 60-year-old Duane “Keffe D” Davis with the murder of iconic American rapper Tupac Shakur, according to a report by Sky News.
Keffe D, believed to be the uncle of one of Tupac’s known rivals, Orlando Anderson, was presented before the court by the Las Vegas Police.
The grand jury indicted Keffe D on a murder charge, including the use of a deadly weapon.
Back when Tupac was killed, Anderson, who was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with Tupac and his associates at a casino, denied any involvement in the rapper’s murder. Anderson was fatally shot in an unrelated gang incident two years later.
In interviews and his memoir, “Compton Street Legend,” released in 2019, Keffe D confessed to being in the car linked to the shooting.
Tupac was shot multiple times and passed away at the age of 25.
Until Friday, no arrests had been made in the case.
