Arch. Chibuike Emmanuel Onyekachi, born on August 26, 1995, hails from Akagbeugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria.
He began his early education at Royal Day Nursery & Primary School and later attended Royal High School, both located in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Chibuike pursued a degree in Architecture at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where he acquired the expertise that has driven his success in the real estate industry. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Arch. Onyekachi is a trusted authority in property development and real estate consultancy.
In 2020, after gaining valuable experience with multiple firms, Chibuike founded Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd, a company that has since gained recognition for its innovative architectural designs and unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction. Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd is now one of the leading names in the Nigerian real estate sector, renowned for delivering both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional residential and commercial projects.
Beyond his professional career, Arch. Onyekachi is passionate about giving back to society. His foundation, which was established in 2019, offers medical assistance to the elderly, particularly those with eye conditions, and provides scholarships to over 50 underprivileged students. His philanthropic efforts, combined with his industry achievements, make him a role model in both the real estate and humanitarian sectors. He got married to his long term girl friend, Dr Goodness Onyekachi (Nee Nwabueze) on the 30th of August, 2024.
On September 5, 2024, Arch. Onyekachi received international recognition from the International Association of World Peace Advocates for his outstanding contributions to real estate. Just two days later, on September 7, 2024, his firm was honored as the Best Real Estate Company by Progressive Frontiers, highlighting his client-focused approach and dedication to sustainable housing solutions.
