Nollywood legend John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has passed away at Evercare Hospital in Lagos State after a prolonged illness.
The 62-year-old actor had been struggling with health problems that eventually led to the amputation of both of his legs.
His medical condition was related to diseased blood vessels. Facing constant clotting of the blood in his legs and other health complications, his family reached out to Nigerians for financial assistance, highlighting the risks to his life and emphasizing the necessity of the amputation procedure.
