The Director of Inter-Campus Crisis Management, Enugu State, Comr. Ebubechukwu Peter Ogbodo, and his team paid a courtesy visit to SP Daniel Ndukwe, the Police Public Relations Officer, Enugu State Command, to seek collaboration.
The Director of Inter-Campus Crisis Management under the National Association of Nigerian Students (Enugu State) sought collaboration from the Enugu State Police Command to maintain a peaceful learning environment in tertiary institutions in Enugu State.
This meeting, which held on Friday at the office of the Police Public Relations Officer at the Nigerian Police Force headquarters in Enugu, aimed to foster a working relationship between the two organizations.
Comrade Ogbodo stated that his work in Inter-Campus Crisis Management cannot be done without involving the police, as a vital tool in achieving their common goal of maintaining a peaceful learning environment in Enugu State.
Comrade Ogbodo added that his office seeks a peaceful collaboration with the Enugu State Police Command and invited them to participate in upcoming programs. These programs will interact with students to identify the problems they face in different schools and find ways forward.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, expressed his profound happiness at seeing that there is an office like this in Enugu State to maintain a peaceful learning environment among students.
“Social vices and crises cannot be absent in universities because they are places where students from different backgrounds come to learn,” SP Ndukwe said.
He further stated that he will partner with the Inter-Campus Crisis Management team to protect and maintain a peaceful learning environment in all tertiary institutions in Enugu State.
“I am always ready to partner and give my best to ensure peace and a conducive learning environment,” SP Ndukwe pledged.
SP Ndukwe also pledged to attend the upcoming programs of the Inter-Campus Crisis Management team in Enugu State.
