Rapper Odumodublvck, also known as Tochukwu Ojogwu, has expressed negative views about his home country Nigeria, calling it a “difficult place.”
The artist, who recently signed a record deal with Def Jam UK, suggested that his global success is due to him overcoming challenges within his own country.
Despite being discouraged from speaking negatively about Nigeria, Odumodublvck maintained that it is indeed a “difficult place.”
During an interview on 90 podcasts in London, he explained,
“I have to be honest; Nigeria is difficult. People tell me not to speak badly about my country and its potential, but the truth is that it’s a difficult place. I and Teezee are here today because we were able to overcome the challenges of living in Nigeria.”
