Nigerian actress Kate Henshaw has publicly backed Senator Natasha Akpoti, who is currently embroiled in a dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The controversy began on February 20, 2025, when the two senators clashed over seating arrangements during a plenary session.
As a result, Natasha was referred to the Senate’s Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions for disorderly conduct.
In an interview with Arise Television, Natasha accused Akpabio of targeting her after she rejected his sexual advances. On March 5, 2025, Natasha submitted a petition to the Senate, alleging sexual harassment by Akpabio.
Kate Henshaw took to Instagram to express her support for Natasha, declaring her “Woman Crush Wednesday” (WCW).
