The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has declared that the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is “practically dead” and will soon be buried.

According to Ganduje, the NNPP’s leader, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, is seeking to join the APC, and the party would welcome him with open arms, considering it a “homecoming.”Ganduje made this statement while receiving a delegation from the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in Abuja.

He revealed that Kwankwaso, a former ally turned estranged associate, wants to return to the APC after losing everyone in his current party.

Ganduje stated, “The NNPP is dead and it will soon be buried… The coffin has already been constructed. What remains now is to dig the grave, and already, they are digging the grave.”

The APC chairman’s comments suggest a significant shift in Kwankwaso’s political allegiance, potentially marking the end of the NNPP as a viable political force.
