Nigerian artist and musician, Naira Marley, has issued a statement addressing the recent passing of Mohbad, a fellow artist and rapper.
Mohbad’s death came as a shock to many, and he was laid to rest on Wednesday in Ikorodu, Lagos State.Taking to his official Instagram account on Friday, Naira Marley expressed his profound sadness and heartfelt condolences upon learning of Mohbad’s untimely demise.
He acknowledged that Mohbad’s loss is an immense one, and that he will be dearly missed by those who knew and appreciated his talents.The Marlian Record label boss admitted that although they had “disagreements, no harm whatsoever was wished on Mohbad”.
Naira Marley also extended his condolences to the family of Mohbad, as he emphasized the importance of conducting a comprehensive investigation into the tragic passing of the talented 27-year-old artist.
