Nigerian actress Grace Bassey, formerly known as Belinda Effah, has officially joined the United States Navy, marking a significant transition from her acting career to military service.
After successfully completing U.S. Navy boot camp and obtaining American citizenship, Bassey shared her journey on Instagram, expressing gratitude and acknowledging the challenges that helped her grow stronger.
She dedicated the achievement to her late father, Naval Commander Asido Bassey Effah.Grace, who began her Nollywood career in the 2005 TV series Shallow Waters, later changed her name following a spiritual experience.
