Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki claims the APC is borrowing N2-5 billion to fund the inauguration of Governor-elect Monday Okpebholo.
Obaseki, speaking at the PDP caretaker committee inauguration, expressed concerns about the incoming government’s spending and alleged they’ve started using the N27 billion set aside for project payments.
He vowed to remain involved in the party and reclaim their “stolen mandate.”
The APC has denied these allegations, accusing Obaseki’s administration of mismanaging N2 trillion.
